material. Tapered from 9 to 6.5 mm. Thick and soft where it touches your
hand. Thin and smooth elsewhere for less friction. Tapered on both ends.
Long enough to create a 4:1 mainsheet with 2 boom blocks.

The combination of Black Technora, Dyneema, Polyester and Cordura
creates the most advanced Optimist mainsheet available. The mainsheet has
extremely good wear resistance characteristics. It has a total length of 7.4
meter and is double tapered from 8 to 6 mm.
Dyneema / softgrip PP cover with PP core. Very flexible and excellent
gripping characteristics.

Pro Line Optimist upgrade package
High performance outhaul, downhaul and halyard system. A tapered
Dyneema outhaul has a partly polyester core for extra thickness which cre-
ates grip in the cleat. 3 mm Dyneema downhaul with 6 mm Technora/Dynee-
ma part. The spliced Cordura/Dyneema halyard comes with a low
friction ring.
